I’ve been putting a lot of effort into bettering my health lately, and I’m feeling more energetic and productive than I have in a long time. I started running again (okay, it’s more like speed walking right now since I’m dealing with tendonitis in my ankle), and I’ve been making some major dietary changes, too. I’m no longer reaching for a muffin or pastry at breakfast time, and instead I’m filling up on lots of protein, fiber, fruits and vegetables. I love making omelets in the morning when we have time, but my quick go-to breakfast has become cereal with Silk AlmondCoconut Blend and fresh fruit.

Like many people, I’ve become more and more sensitive to dairy products as I have gotten older, and I recently decided to cut milk out of my diet since it doesn’t agree with my stomach. This new AlmondCoconut Blend tastes amazing over cereal, keeps me feeling full longer, and makes my tummy happy.

For those of you who might also be considering alternatives to dairy milk, I’ve put together a handy infographic with some nutritional facts about the health benefits of almond milk and coconut milk.
