Confetti is always a HUGE hit around here, so I thought it would be a fantastic idea to create a free printable confetti card for Valentine’s Day. I paired my printable up with these super fun confetti straws, and my kids couldn’t wait to get their hands on them!  The cards read “Wishing You a Valentine’s Day Sprinkled with Love!” and they are available to download in two different color combinations.

Cutting Confetti with Shredding ScissorsI started by making my own confetti using these awesome fringe scissors. Of course, you can purchase your own pre-cut confetti, but I love being able to make my own custom color mix. I cut a mix of red and pink printer paper, silver gift wrap and gold metallic “tissue” paper for my confetti, and then I tossed a few red sequins into the mix, too.

Using a funnel, I filled jumbo sized clear straws with the confetti, and attached the printable Valentine’s Day card. I stapled each end of the straw closed, and wrapped the ends with holiday themed washi tape.

I decided to use two different color palettes for my printable, so it’s available in a purple version and a red/gold version. Just click the photos below to print a full size version (4 per page)!
