  1. Ok, silly question. When you use the food coloring does it cause you to turn blue per say. OR since your using a large amount of water it would be ok. I have made bath salts before but have never added coloring. But it looks so pretty 🙂

    1. Not a silly question at all, Melissa! My kids have bought bath bombs at the store before that have turned their skin completely blue, so I totally understand the concern! With these bath salts, there ends up being such a small amount of colorant in a large quantity of water that it hardly even affects the water color, let alone your skin. 🙂

  2. This sounds great. I already use other EO with Epsom salts like lavender. I also use Panaway, diluted. I would be afraid it would be a wee bit warm on my more sensitive parts in a bath, but my tense muscles could use it. You haven’t had that problem?

    1. I know what you mean, Ruth, but I haven’t had that issue! Using a large amount of bath water really helps to dilute the intensity, so I have never had a problem with it! 🙂

  3. Great idea and all natural with essential oils, how can you go wrong. This seems like a great idea for young athletes so you don’t expose them to chemicals! Thanks for sharing!

  4. This is wonderful, I love this remedy soo much that I’ve shared it with all my personal training clients in person and via my website =)

  5. PanAway has a stimulating scent that I like, really love the color of the salt you made, looking forward to trying this.

    1. You add it to the bath. As the post says, “To use: simply add 1 cup of the sports soak to your bath water to provide relaxation and relief for tired, sore, and achy muscles.” 🙂

  6. Cant even imagine how nice this would feel and the way you presented it makes it look like a great gift for fitness enthusiasts as well! Thanks for the idea and hope you have a great new year!
