We recently celebrated my nephew’s sixth birthday with a “Party Like a Rockstar” themed birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’sww, America’s #1 place for birthdays, and it was a ton of fun! It had been awhile since our last Chuck E. Cheese birthday party, and when I booked the party online, I was excited to see that there are a LOT of fun new party package options. Party patrons can select from three different priced package levels (Star, Super Star, and Mega Super Star) with fun themes such as “Sports, Sports, Sports,” “Dressed in Pink Party,” and “Chuck E. Super Fan,” and if you opt to reserve a VIP party, you can get the entire party area to yourself before the restaurant opens!
Our six-year-old birthday boy got to select his own party theme, and he chose to “Party Like a Rockstar,” which was fitting for this aspiring guitarist!
Of course, everything about a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party is fun, but our most favorite things of all are the incredible games! There are a TON of different kinds of games, and everyone is sure to find something that they love. From pinball to dancing games, race cars to basketball, and everything in between, the prize tickets are always abundantly flowing at Chuck E. Cheese, and that makes for happy party guests!
My six-year-old is a huge fan of Skee Ball, and he’s actually really good at it!
This Big Bass Pro game totally reminds me of the big prize wheel on The Price is Right, and my 9-year-old was hooked on pressing down that giant lever to spin the wheel – he walked away with a jackpot on one of his spins!
In addition to loads of awesome games, Chuck E. Cheese’s also offers several ride-on options for younger guests. The toddler and preschoolers in our group couldn’t get enough of this colorful merry-go-round!
One of my favorite things about Chuck E. Cheese is that you don’t have to be a “big kid” to win big prizes! There are lots of fun games that are perfect for all ages. My three-year-old niece hit the 50-ticket jackpot on this ball drop game!

When our game play time was up, we had a ton of tickets to redeem for fun prizes!
After game time, it was time for lunch and a show. These Chuck E. Cheese characters haven’t changed all that much over the years, and they’re still the same beloved classics!
Our little “rock stars” got to dance on stage with Chuck E. Cheese, and it was the highlight of the party for these two cuties!
Each of the different party package levels (Star, Super Star, and Mega Super Star) come with two pieces of pizza and free drink refills for each child. If you have additional adult guests joining your party as well, you may wish to purchase extra pizzas and food from the main menu.
We got one of Chuck E. Cheese’s delicious new funfetti birthday cakes with sweet buttercream frosting and lots of sprinkles, and the kids loved it!
We also added cups of Dippin’ Dots for each of the party guests, and the kids were super excited to choose their own flavor of these fun treats. If you’ve never had Dippin’ Dots before, it’s definitely a tasty experience that you have to try for yourself!
Chuck E. Cheese’s wasn’t kidding when they called these “The Super Goodie Bags!” These mega-sized goodie bags were packed full of activity sheets, stickers, tattoos, shutter sunglasses, candy, games, lots of novelty toy favors, and even a coupon for 10 free tokens on your next visit!
