This month, I designed a cut file that is perfect for the entire fall season – from Halloween to Thanksgiving and everything in-between! This sweet reminder to “Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart” is perfect for fall decor projects, and it would also be adorable on a sweatshirt or on the cover of a gratitude journal. Hmmm, come to think of it, those would make fantastic DIY homemade gift ideas, too!
To create my DIY fall decor sign, I wanted to use a variety of different Cricut adhesive foils, so I used the layers panel in Design Space to assign different colors to the different elements I wanted to group together.
Simply cut the different colors of adhesive foil, apply to an off-white painted board, and distress the edges. Easy peasy!
I love all the variation in color as the light hits the foil at different angles!
I also cut a monochromatic version of the file and applied it around a tall candle (from the dollar store) to create this adorable Thanksgiving candle – perfect for your holiday table centerpiece or as a hostess gift idea!
The file is the perfect size to wrap all the way around the candle, and I absolutely love the way that it turned out! A SUPER quick and easy fall craft project that costs next to nothing!
