Hi! I’m happy to be back here at Happiness is Homemade to share a fun little Fall craft with you today. I love Fall and everything about it- the leaves falling, boot weather, pumpkin everything, cooler mornings, early nights, and especially Fall crafting! This time I wanted to get our boys involved in crafting so we decided to make an easy, inexpensive centerpiece for our dining room table.
What I loved most about this craft (besides the fact that it brought the boys and I together for a few minutes without sword fighting, trains crashing, or toys flying across the room) was that it was easy, quick, and super inexpensive… about $2 total.
We used 2 packs of these plastic decorative pumpkins and gourds from the Dollar Spot at Target (don’t you just LOVE that place?!), some glitter that we already had on hand, Mod Podge that we already had, and pinecones gathered from our front yard.
So quick, so easy, so fun for kids to glitter up these cute little pumpkins and gourds! And now we have a cute little display for our dining room table.
I think they look pretty cute on a cake plate. Happy November and hope you all have a beautiful month of remembering all that you’re thankful for.
