Happy October!
You know what that means in blog world…this post should be about Christmas, but it’s not! Shockingly, I’m starting off my first contributing post here on Happiness is Homemade by sharing a Halloween craft with all of you today {yes, in the same month as the actual holiday, go figure!}.
I’m all about simplicity and fun, and this quick craft is both.
Materials needed:
wooden picture frame
white paint/foam brush
googly eyes
orange and black washi tape
Halloween picture from year’s past
To get started, paint your picture frame white. While that dries {it shouldn’t take too terribly long}, heat up your glue gun and gather the other supplies. The rest is really up to you, the designer! I went with a few long lines of washi tape with pairs of googly eyes scattered around the frame.
I think it also would look great completely covered in one or two alternating colors of washi tape as well. That would be a great option if you didn’t have white paint for your frame.
I’ve also seen variations of a googly eye frame that was completely covered in googly’s {and let me tell ya, that looked super cute too}. Now, pop your kiddo’s picture in from last Halloween and your new Googly Eye Picture frame is ready for the mantel!
