It was recently brought to my attention that although my boys have had a grand total of 15 birthday parties, I’ve only shared ONE of them here on the blog. Not only that, but the one party that I shared (Simon’s Little Cowboy first birthday party) was a guest post on another blog that is no longer active, so you can’t even see it if you click on the old link. Oops! So, I’ve decided that in the coming weeks I will dig out some old party photos and post a few blast-from-the-past flashbacks featuring my boys’ birthday parties. Starting with the one that you all have been trying to click though a broken link to see! (Sorry about that!)
It was love at first sight when I first saw the Little Cowboy graphics and paper packs at Print Candee, and I immediately knew that my soon-to-be one-year-old would be celebrating his first birthday in Little Cowboy style. The graphics and papers all pair exceptionally well with one another, and I had a blast putting together different combinations to create an entire line of party decorations.
Guests were welcomed at the front door by a rope wrapped wreath displaying my favorite Little Cowboy (the one that looks most like the birthday boy, of course!).
In addition to eye-catching labels, table banners and whimsical cupcake picks, the dessert and food tables were also adorned with rodeo themed silhouettes cut from brown striped Little Cowboy paper.
Guests were treated to BBQ chicken sliders, baked beans, fresh strawberries and vegetables. We topped off the fun filled day with birthday candles, mini red velvet cupcakes and creamy root beer floats!
I can’t believe this picture was taken almost two years ago! I’m starting to plan his 3rd birthday party (check out some of the possible theme ideas), and it feels like this was just yesterday!

Hello Heidi
Thankyou for sharing your beautiful party. Can I ask where you got the cowboy and all the cutouts?
I am planning a cowboy party for my son and would love to use them.
Sincerely,
Maria O’Donnell

Hi Maria! Most of the graphics that I used for the party materials are from Print Candee. I used Photoshop to layer them, and then I just printed and cut them all out! 🙂
