This personalized gold foil print makes a really pretty wedding decoration or gift idea for the bride and groom, and it only takes 15 minutes to create!
I’m super duper excited about this round of Craft Lightning (crafts that can be completed in 15 minute or less) because the theme is quick & easy wedding crafts! My husband and I were married almost 14 years ago, and I’ve been daydreaming about having a 15-year anniversary party next summer – DIY style, of course! To create this sweet heart shaped wedding print, I visited the Word Hearts website and entered in some of the important informational words about our wedding day. The site automatically generates the text-filled heart for you – just remember to click save when you’re finished to save the image!
I ran the print through my Minc Foil Applicator machine to turn it shiny gold! (You can read more about my love for the Minc here!)
I cut out the heart and used a glue stick to adhere it to a piece of black cardstock.
Then I popped it into a frame that I picked up at the dollar store.
I used my hot glue gun to add a couple of pre-made tulle and pearl flowers that were hanging out in my craft stash.
The entire project only took me 15 minutes, and it looks super chic! This would be great sitting next to the guest book at a wedding reception or as a gift to the bride and groom. I’m going to give mine to my hubby for our upcoming anniversary! ♥
