Last week I talked to you about my latest love – Project Life – and after a few weeks of creating ridiculously easy (and totally adorable!) scrapbook layouts, the only negative thing that I can say is that I wish I had started this years ago! I first heard about Project Life on HSN last year when it made its debut on the show, and I went back and forth about buying one of the awesome kits that were being offered – it was SUCH a great deal, but I figured that my husband would probably kill me if I bought a ton more scrapbook supplies that I never ended up using. I have a really bad track record for starting scrapbooks and never even coming close to finishing them. In the end, they sold out of the kit that I wanted before I could make up my mind about the purchase, and I figured it was all for the best anyway. Let me tell you now that it was not.
I am absolutely kicking myself for not having gotten started with Project Life sooner! Luckily you don’t have to make the same mistake that I did because Project Life is coming back to HSN next week! On August 5th, you will be able to purchase one of several bundles that includes either the Cinnamon, Kraft or Rain Core Kit Editions, or a Mini Kit bundle with the Holiday and Seasons Mini Editions. The price hasn’t been revealed yet, so you’ll have to tune in to HSN or check their website on August 5th to find out. My older boys have been trying to convince me to purchase the Rain Core Kit for them so that they can make their own “boy colored” album, so I’m excited to hear that it’s included in the deal. The Project Life system of cards and pockets is so simple that even my young kids can create impressive looking layouts!
(This Rain Core Kit is kind of perfect for them, don’t you think?)
For myself, I’ve been dying to get my hands on the Holiday Mini Kit – it includes cards for both Christmas and Hanukkah, which is fabulous since we celebrate both holidays in our house.
No matter which kit you choose, I can promise you that you’re going to have a blast preserving your memories with Project Life. It’s beyond easy (it doesn’t require any skills or tools!), and you’re going to wish that you had started ages ago too!
