It’s time for another awesome Silhouette promotion, and this time it includes the incredible Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition software! The Designer Edition software is one of my most favorite Silhouette products because it allows you the versatility to do SO much more (including using your own custom shapes/images in addition to what’s available in the Silhouette store!). Here’s a quick look at the differences between the regular Silhouette Studio® software and the Designer Edition:
From now through February 14th, visit the Silhouette promotion page to purchase one of the following super discounted bundles (use code SPACE at checkout to receive the discounted prices!):
1. The Silhouette CAMEO®, The Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition Software, the glitter collection sketch pens, and the metallic collection sketch pens for $269.99 ($94 in savings!)
2. The Silhouette Portrait™, The Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition Software, the glitter collection sketch pens, and the metallic collection sketch pens for $129.99 ($114 in savings!)
If you already own a Silhouette machine, you can upgrade to the Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition Software for 40% off! Just visit Silhouette and use the code SPACE at checkout to receive the discounted price!
One of my favorite features of the The Silhouette Studio® Designer Edition Software is the advanced knives panel for cutting. It has a ton of great options that allow you to cut different line styles quickly.
I used the scallop cutting feature to quickly create this adorable stenciled Scalloped Stripe Tote Bag last year, and it’s still one of my favorite projects that I’ve made (and one of the quickest and easiest, too!).
Since the Designer Edition software allows you to convert shapes into custom rhinestone patterns, it’s perfect for projects like this one from Create & Babble. She used glitter heat transfer vinyl instead of rhinestones to make her project come together even quicker, and I LOVE the results!
The Designer Edition software also allows you to convert shapes and designs to sketch pen patterns, which is totally awesome for creating faux chalkboard art like this cute teacher gift from Ginger Snap Crafts.
I have to say that as someone who possesses ZERO drawing talent, I love that I can use my Silhouette machine along with the Designer Edition software and sketch pens to whip up stylish cards quickly and easily. I totally adore this sweet note card that I found uploaded on Pinterest by user Lainey Cota.
