These quick and easy strawberry banana parfaits are a perfect after school snack, and they’re especially great on busy days before sports practice!
Our afternoons and evenings are jam packed with my boys’ baseball games and practices, and since we often don’t have the chance to eat dinner until late, our after school snacks have become more important. We need something substantial to hold us over until dinnertime, so lately we’ve been making a lot of parfaits packed full of yogurt, fresh fruit and our favorite granola bar crumbles. I love to mix and match my fruit and yogurt flavors, but my boys tend to stick to classic flavor combinations like this yummy strawberry banana parfait with granola.
What We Used:
- Nature Valley™ Oats ‘n Honey Crunchy Granola Bars
- Yoplait® Strawberry Banana Yogurt
Our local Safeway has many different varieties of Yoplait yogurt (I love the 100 calorie Greek yogurts for an extra boost of protein!), and you really can’t go wrong with ANY blend of fruit and yogurt. If strawberry banana isn’t your favorite, feel free to experiment with different flavor combinations!
These healthy parfait snacks are exactly what we need in the afternoon to keep us satisfied until dinner. With yummy options like this, it’s no wonder that snacking now accounts for 53% of all eating occasions!
Strawberry banana parfaits may be the biggest hit in our house these days, but I’ve already been scoping out all of the other flavors of Yoplait yogurt at Safeway and planning our next Snacksational treat! I’m thinking that the blueberry Greek yogurt topped with fresh blueberries, bananas, and Fiber One® Protein Cranberry Almond cereal would be amazing!
Do you enjoy parfaits? What’s your favorite flavor combination?
