How to Use Pre-Printed Sublimation Ink Sheets
I love to make sublimation projects with my Epson Eco-Tank sublimation printer, but did you know that you can sublimate without a printer?!
During Sublimation Camp, I’ll be teaching a class that goes over the basics of sublimating without a printer by utilizing pre-printed sublimation ink sheets such as these ones from Bright Star Crafters (above) as well as Cricut Infusible Ink.
BRIGHT STAR CRAFTERS SUBLIMATION SHEETS
The sublimation ink sheets from Bright Star Crafters are my favorite to work with for several reasons:
- The sheets are approximately the same weight as a sheet of high-quality copy paper, so they are extra lightweight, flexible, and easy to work with.
- Available in 100s of colors and patterns!
- Customizable – choose your favorite color/pattern combinations!
- Can be used with or without a transfer sheet as desired (no built-in backing sheet)
INFUSIBLE INK TRANSFER SHEETS
Cricut Infusible Ink sheets:
- Heavy-weight ink transfer sheets are about the same weight as thick, heavy cardstock.
- Built-in plastic transfer sheet backing.
- Designed to be cut with a Cricut machine (but you don’t have to use a Cricut with them!).
- Available in 19 solid colors and many patterned options.
