Skinny Black Bean & Turkey Chili


  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 28 oz. can Hunt's Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 14 oz. can Black Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 14 oz. Chicken Broth
  • 6 oz. can Hunt's Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 White or Yellow Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoon Hot Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Garnish with: Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • Green Onions, sliced
  • Sour Cream


  1. Brown ground turkey, onions, and garlic in a dutch oven (or casserole pot) over medium heat.
  2. Add black beans, chicken broth, Hunt's tomatoes and tomato paste, spices, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cover and reduce to a simmer.
  4. Simmer for at least an hour (up to 6 hours) to develop the flavors.
  5. Top with shredded cheese, green onions and sour cream if desired.
