Easy Basic Granola Recipe

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups quick oats
  • ¾ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ cup Tri-Colored Millet
  • 1 ½ cups Puffed Wheat or Rice Cereal, unsweetened
  • ½ cup Coconut Flakes, unsweetened
  • 1/3 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup Raw Honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Sea Salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Using a large cookie sheet, spread out the oats, millet and almonds and coconut and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  3. When the grains are ready, carefully pour them into a large mixing bowl along with the puffed wheat cereal, salt, honey and pure maple syrup. You’ll want everything to be fully coated, so add a bit more honey or maple syrup if needed.
  4. Lightly coat a baking sheet with coconut oil, and turn the oven up to 325 degrees.
  5. Spread the granola mixture on the tray in an even layer. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until it is firm and has toasted up a bit more.
  6. Allow the granola to cool on the tray before breaking into chunks.
  7. Store for up to a week in a sealed container.
