First, start by blending the strawberries until they’re smooth. Once fully blended, set them off to the side.
Next, using an electric mixer, whip up the heavy cream on medium speed. Slowly add in the sugar while mixing.Mix until stiff peaks are just about to form, this usually takes 3-4 minutes.
Now add 3 tablespoons of the pureed strawberries you had set aside.
Continue mixing for 1 minute until the strawberry puree is fully incorporated. For best results, do not over-beat!
Pour your favorite milk and ice into a cute cup, or mason jar and top with the whipped strawberry mixture. Enjoy!
Notes
NOTE: The heavy cream has to be cold, not at room temperature. Use heavy cream for this recipe and not a lighter version
For best results, chill the mixing bowl and the whisk in the freezer for 15 minutes.
