Work-from-home, remote independent contractor position
Flexible hours, approximately 10-20 hours per week
Responsibilities Include:
- Editing and formatting blog posts from our writing team including:
- Entering and formatting posts in WordPress
- Inserting photos and adding alt text
- Rewriting portions of posts as needed
- Optimizing content for SEO
- Creating Pinterest pins as needed
- Writing email newsletters on provided topics
- Updating and rewriting previously published posts including:
- Re-formatting posts in WordPress
- Rewriting post information as needed
- Optimizing existing content for SEO and adding content as needed
- Creating new Pinterest pins
- Attend a short weekly Zoom call (approximately 20-30 minutes) to go over tasks for the upcoming week
- Additional tasks as required; may include copywriting for landing pages, etc.
Skills Required:
- Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with the WordPress platform and Gutenberg editor
- Extensive SEO knowledge and the ability to write and format posts for SEO optimization
- Familiarity with RankIQ, Topic, or other SEO software
- Knowledge of crafting materials, techniques, tools, and technology (Cricut, Silhouette, xTool, Glowforge, etc.) preferred
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

Flexible part-time hours; paid per article/post
Responsibilities Include:
- Writing and formatting articles on various topics, including but not limited to:
- Craft Tutorials
- Printable Games and Activities
- Cricut & Silhouette Tutorials including Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Software
- Laser Tutorials including Glowforge App and xTool Creative Space Software
- Holiday and Party Ideas
- Writer/Photographers will also submit edited photos to accompany their writing
Skills Required:
- Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with the WordPress platform and Gutenberg editor
- Extensive SEO knowledge and the ability to write and format posts for SEO optimization
- Familiarity with RankIQ, Topic, or other SEO software
- Writer/Photographers must have strong photography and editing skills and be able to shoot photographs that complement our brand style and aesthetic
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of crafting materials, tools, and tech (Cricut, Glowforge, etc.)
