  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Lime
  • Orange Juice
  • Margarita Salt and/or Coarse Sugar (optional, to rim glasses)

How to Candy LimesTo candy the limes, cut the lime into thin slices. Add the white sugar and water to a pot, boil until sugar is dissolved and mixture starts to gain a syrup like texture.  Shut the heat off, remove the pan from the burner and add the limes. Stir to coat with the syrup and let them sit for about 5-6 minutes. Remove the limes from the syrup, place on wax paper and sprinkle with sugar. Let cool completely. 1. I’ve enjoyed a lot of margaritas in my day, but I’ve never tried them with candied limes. Love the idea! I like to make two batches, one nice and boozy, the other kid friendly. Thanks for the great post Heidi!
