Every year my boys and I make several different kinds of handmade ornaments, and these beaded snowflake ornaments are one of our favorites. They are elegant and beautiful, but they are quick to make and require just a couple of basic supplies!
- Wire snowflake forms
- Assorted beads (make sure the holes are large enough for the wire to fit through!)
- Needle nose pliers
- String or ribbon for hanging
Bead one prong of the wire snowflake form. Leave approximately 1/2″ at the end.
Use the needle nose pliers to bend and close the end of the wire as shown.
Insert a string through the end loop for easy hanging or simply slip an ornament hook through the wire loop. These make fantastic holiday gifts for grandparents, and they look lovely as package toppers too!
Pin these images for later!

My Friend made an ornament like this for me a while back and I was wondering how she did it. Well now I know! Thanks so much I love them!
I will definitely take this to my daughter school so all the kids can make them

Love your blog! Just don’t understand why your blog ALWAYS shows up as “suspected phishing”on my computer!
I’m so sorry about that, Lisa! That’s really strange. Would you mind sharing with me what browser you are using and what program is dinging it as “suspected phishing” so I can investigate it a little further? Thanks!
