I love crafting (obviously!), but I don’t always have the time to pull together an elaborate project. Instead of starting something that I won’t be able to finish, I find myself gravitating towards crafts that I can pull off in 30 minutes or less. These cute Easter bunnies (and the mossy monogram that I shared on Eight By Five) totally fit the bill – quick, simple and super cute!

I started with two wooden bunny cutouts from Artsy Chaos – I love that Wendy uses MDF that’s over an inch thick so that the finished product is really substantial and stands easily on its own.

I traced the bunnies on to patterned scrapbook paper and then painted the edges of the wood cutouts. While the paint was drying I cut out my scrapbook paper shapes. I applied a thin coat of Mod Podge to the wood and adhered my scrapbook paper, smoothing out any air bubbles and wrinkles with the edge of a credit card.

After waiting about 15 minutes to allow the paper to dry, I coated the entire bunny with another layer of Mod Podge to seal it and finish it. I added a bow made from tulle scraps, and they were all done – easy peasy!

Love the simplicity of these, yet they are so pretty!
They would be perfect sitting on a mantle or bookshelf.
    Thanks for sharing!
