Have you been bitten by the Project Life bug? If you haven’t heard of it yet, Project Life if the latest craze that everyone is falling in love with. The goal is generally to do one layout per week, though some ladies accept the daily challenge of Project Life 365!

I just got started with Project Life last week. For my birthday I got the new Honey Core Kit, Cobalt Core Kit, Seafoam binder, and a big pack of pocket photo pages in assorted layouts. The great thing about Project Life is its simplicity – it really does take all the guesswork out of creating scrapbook layouts. The core kits come with hundreds of cards that all complement one another, so mixing and matching is only as difficult as choosing which ones you like the best (which is actually more difficult than it sounds if you’re chronically indecisive like me!).
You can add as much or as little embellishment as you want – some fun accents are dimensional stickers, glitter accents, tiny buttons, trinkets, ribbons, and twine. These are my first layouts, so I just stuck with the basic cards for now, but I can foresee myself going a little crazy with the embellishments in the coming weeks.
Once you get started, I can guarantee that you’re going to be hooked! I highly recommend purchasing a Project Life brand album and core kit to get started, but if you want to change up the look of your pages a bit, you can save a little bit of cash by utilizing the free insert card resources available on the internet. To save you some time, I’ve put together this list of OVER ONE HUNDRED FREE places to download and print your own Project Life insert cards. This list is absolutely the best of the best!

Wow thanks so much for this post! Im going to resize for my planner. Perfect!
Thank you so much for sharing these. Do you have any suggestions on what types of paper/cards we should print these on? I am hoping to use them in my kikki-k planner.
Heidi,
These were posted on my FB page, so I came to check them out! I don’t scrapbook, but I do use Project Life Cards to Journal in the Hobonichi “style”, called Fauxbonichi. This list is a fantastic resource for those of us who journal using cards =) Thank You So Much!
I have lots of free journal cards at my site if you’re interested.
Oh my word, these are THEEE best printables on the planet!!! Thank you for sharing your awesome talent!!!!
merci beaucoup pour cette récap de liens aussi sympa les uns que les autres!!! je n’ai plus qu’a me lancer!!!
thanks for the job!
I want to start Project Life but I have a question, what type of paper should I print the print outs on? Regular printer paper? What do you suggest?
I would suggest using a heavier weight paper (like cardstock) to print the cards on – this will help them slide in and out of the Project Life pocket pages easier. Have fun! 🙂
Hi, Shelby from mambi here. Some more free printables in February on our blog! Enjoy!
What an amazing gallery ! Thank you very much for this huge job !
Thank you so much for featuring my cards! I really appreciate the shout out! I have some new Pinterest Cards and Movie Night Cards that were recently added to my freebies page! You can see them here:

Thanks so much for sharing, Kelly! I’m going to go check them out right now! 🙂
I see you featured me & my BIG ideas …. Awesome! Had another sheet on August 26th too on our mambi blog. So awesome for you to do this, you ROCK!
Thanks so much for the kind words! I’m heading over to the MAMBI blog to check out the other sheet right now! 🙂
Thank you so much for this wonderful round up! I just bought my first album and core kit and can’t wait to start first week of September. I’m so excited by the number of freebies around! I can’t wait to design some myself.
I found this post through my blog stats because you have my cards listed (the retro kitchen ones), and it’s such an awesome list! I thought I was totally up on the freebies out there, but there are JCs I’ve never seen, and to have collected them all in one place, so beautifully laid out, is wonderful. Thank you!
Thank you SO much! I had a tough time deciding which cards of yours to include! I’ve been checking out your blog lately, and I’m now convinced that I need the PL Rain core kit because I love what you’ve been doing with it! 🙂
I’m not seeing links.
The links are further down in the post. There are 100 different thumbnail images, each with a link underneath. 🙂
Yep, still not seeing 100 thumbnails…the only thing I see is the big block…when i click on that it’s a JPEG. Where are the links supposed to show up? Under what wording? I even tried a new browser. 🙁
Please and thanks.
That’s so strange, Lil! There’s a big block which is a jpg graphic for the post, and then after the post text there should be 100 different thumbnail images each with its own link underneath. Let me see if I can find an alternate way for you to view them.
Can you see them here: http://www.inlinkz.com/wpview.php?id=298945
Success! Must have been the computer I was on. Thanks for your patience.
Why Can’t I download the cards? Help please!
Under each set of cards is a link that takes you to the site where it is available for download. Each card set is designed by and hosted on another blog or website, so you have to click the link to go to the designer’s site where you will find their download link. Each card set will be downloaded separately. 🙂
Hey Heidi! I get that they were individually designed with separate downloads, however I must need more caffeine because I only see the pictures as one big block, not as individual sets with links…
The links are further down in the post. Let me know if they’re still not showing up for you! 🙂
I think you must be missing a bit of the code because even when you follow the link to the inlinkz loading page, it keeps loading forever.
It seems to be loading just fine for me right now, Ali. Perhaps InLinkz was having glitchy service earlier? 🙂
These are incredible! Thanks so much for sharing! I am excited to print them out 🙂
These are so great and what a much easier way to scrapbook!!!!!!!!! I think I need to get hooked on this!
It is SO easy to get hooked! I just posted this morning that Project Life is going to be back on HSN next week with some amazing deals…it’s the perfect time to get started! 😉
These are amazing, thank you Heidi!! Pinning now 🙂

I have a binder and page dividers but I am such a freak I can’t just start. I am going to do it once school starts. I need time frames. Can’t just scrap! Ah. I love all of the Project Life things. Thanks for sharing the freebies. Might just be my little push I need to get going! 🙂
I was worried about how/when to start too because I usually like to have a clear plan, but I just jumped in and went for it…and I’m SO glad I did! I know that many people like to create a two-page layout to showcase their entire week, but I tend to make my layouts center around one single event or activity that we did during the week instead of covering he whole week. Once you get started it’s hard to stop!
Thanks so much for featuring our cards! This is a fabulous round-up! And your PL pages look awesome! Pinned 🙂
Of course, Nat! You ladies always have the cutest stuff! 🙂
