This DIY Book Bag, decorated with a fun literary quote from Lemony Snicket, is perfect for trips to the library! Free SVG cut file & ready-to-frame printable included!
As homeschoolers, we visit our local library a lot, and it always amazes me that we have such a wonderful resource right at our fingertips – for free! My three boys love to go to the library and choose their own reading material, and we like to browse the shelves together for our next “classroom” reads as well.
As a family, we’re currently reading and studying Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events, starting with book #1, The Bad Beginning. I’m super excited about the new Netflix series that’s coming out just in time to go along with our novel unit! Have you seen the teaser yet? The new version stars Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf, and it looks SO good! I can’t wait to finish reading the books so that we can watch it!
As I was flipping through Lemony Snicket’s books, I discovered this quote, and I knew that it would make a perfect addition to our library book bag!
SUPPLIES Used to Make a DIY BOOK BAG:
I used my Cricut Explore Air machine to cut black heat transfer vinyl for my book bag. If you’ve never worked with heat transfer vinyl before, you can read more about the process here.
