It’s hard to believe that it’s already that time of year again, but the end of school is just around the corner! If you’re looking for a sweet end-of-year gift for your favorite teacher (or on the hunt for the perfect Teacher Appreciation Day gift!), we’ve got you covered with these funny custom clipboards. They’re a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to show your teacher how much you appreciate all the hard work they put in each year!
Easy Teacher Appreciation Gift Idea
Supplies Needed to Make Custom Clipboards:
- Colorful Acrylic Clipboards
- Permanent Adhesive Vinyl
- Transfer Tape
- Cricut Maker (also available on Amazon), Cricut Explore Air 2, or another cutting machine that uses SVG files
Begin by downloading our SVG files (at the bottom of this post) and uploading them into the Cricut Design Space software. Cut the quotes out of permanent adhesive vinyl and weed the excess.
Cover the vinyl design with a sheet of clear transfer tape and use a scraper or an old credit/gift card to smooth the transfer tape down.
Peel the vinyl and the transfer tape up off of the vinyl backing, and carefully place the design on to your clipboard. Use the scraper/card again to smooth the vinyl and press it on to the clipboard surface.
Carefully peel off the transfer tape, leaving the vinyl design on the clipboard.
Easy peasy and super cute!
Repeat the process for each additional design and/or clipboard.
